True story – I never get tired of making coffee themed projects. I love coffee. I love coffee themed craft supplies. I love making coffee themed craft projects. Therefore, my cup runneth over.

But who would’ve thought something called “Lights in the Forest” would lead me to coffee. It just goes to show, inspiration can come from anywhere. This time it was from one Doodle Paper Playgrounds newest Sparkle Blends, called (as I’ve mentioned) “Lights in the Forest.”

This unique color palette is the perfect “blend” for so may different themes, but since I had some new coffee themed supplies from Brutus Monroe, that’s the direction I followed.
I created the background using a coffee bean die from Brutus Monroe’s October Inspiration Box. I cut it several times on the brown paper, then layered it on top of green. To create the coffee cups, I ran the coffee cup die through on different colored papers then swapped the pieces out.
Glitter paper and blue cardtsock are from Brutus Monroe. The rest is from Stampin’ Up. The sentiment is from Echo Park’s Coffee & Friends stamp set. I stamped it with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink.
Inspiration is everywhere. Keep your mind’s eye open and you never know what you will that will inspire you to make stuff and be happy.
Great card! So true where you will find inspiration!!!
