What’s Cooking, Birthday boy?

Today I am celebrating the birthday of someone very special to me, someone who makes it possible for me to do what I love, everyday. My husband, and very own personal chef – Fred. His cooking is unmatched because he does it with his feelings. Good or bad, they go into what he cooks and sometimes the unexpected happens. Which is exactly how I feel when creating projects. So, this was a very special card that I feel honored to have created. I wanted to capture Fred’s personality in this card and with all the amazing products from Brutus Monroe, I was able to do just that.

I used several of the products from the December Inspiration box called “Sugar and Spice.” The images are from “Sugar & Spice” 6X8 stamp set which also has coordinating dies. I stamped the images with Penny Embossing Powder on Perfect Blend Paper and added some light tones with Copics. The background is from the Sugar & Spice Card Panels. I used Tea Dye and Antique Linen Distress Inks. The sentiment is from the Sugar & Spice Conversation Clippings. I added just a few bits of bling to give it some sparkle like the one in Fred’s eye when he’s serving up some love.

Below are some more examples of projects using products from the Sugar & Spice line:
