For friends, family and crafts! Truly. Crafting became crucial the past 7 months, more-so than ever. It was always therapy, but it became necessary. And I felt so blessed to have it as a fallback, mainly because of the community it meant I was a part of.
So today I honor all my amazing people in the crafty community with this adorable turkey from Brutus Monroe. He was so fun to color with Copics and highlight with a white pen. I even added some Glossy Accents to his eyes. The paper and ribbon are from Brutus Monroe also.
Take a look at the window and notice the beautiful colors in this shaker blend from Doodles Paper Playground called “Give Thanks.” They make a perfect backdrop for the turkey. I know most people don’t send Thanksgiving cards, but I can’t think of a better time to let someone know how grateful you are to have them in your life. So take the time to make stuff and be happy.
