When I saw this awesome technique demonstrated by Amanda from Rise and Procraftinate, I had to try it! My husband loves tie-dye so I knew this would be a perfect birthday card for him. If you have any type of waterbrush markers, I encourage you to check it out. It’s super easy and the results are fabulous. I used ZIG Real Brush markers for the background. The Die cut is from Simon Says Stamps which I enhanced with glossy accents.

I accented the card with Pineapple Garden Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground. I thought they coordinated perfectly and it reminded me of the movie Pineapple Express. Placement is one of my favorite ways to use Sparkle Blends because you really get to appreciate all the awesome different elements mixed within a blend. It also adds more versatility to your blends because you can pick out certain elements to go with specific themes. I always take a look at what’s in a blend to see different ways it can be used.
