For your dies only

I never thought this day would come. I guess I never had a reason to. Yet this card has absolutely no ink on it! I made a complete card with no stamping. I am pretty sure this is a first for me.

This card came together so easily. Aside from the intricate pieces, this was a simple fun card. I used an A-2 card sized dies from Brutus Monroe called “Ornaments Die.” I ran it through with 3 different specialty papers (silver foil from Stampin’ Up and Pink & blue glitter cardstock from Brutus Monroe. I created my window with the silver piece then played around mixing and matching the other pieces til I found something I liked. I created a quick and easy shaker window and filled it with “Blue Blizzard” Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground. I added the “Celebrate” sentiment using a Stampin’ Up die and I had a complete card to die for.

And a great thing – I was left with enough pieces to make a few more cards. Although the process was a bit tedious, it was very simple and fun to make this timeless design. Give it a try with one of your dies. I also encourage you to make a holiday card without green & red. There are so many fun possibilities. If you check out all the amazing Holiday & year round Sparkle Blends at the Doodles Paper Playground online store, you will definitely find some inspiration. So go make stuff and be happy.
